It started with a New Year Resolution! - to do a drawing a day, every day, for a year.
Alice started this resolution first in 2008, and in 2013 she did it again, and hasn't stopped since. The result of this is a heaving shelf of sketchbooks, the pages of which throw her right back to where she was when she drew those lines. The sketchbooks are accidental diaries - remembering, celebrating and recounting the subtleties and intricacies of what took place in that moment and at that time.
She has always had a passion for nature and how the seasons steadfastly set a pace that we have to adhere to. They keep us grounded and remind us that there are things we can't rush - we have to wait for the blossom, just as we have to patiently wait for snow. Her daily drawings and observations while walking in the countryside near the studio inspire new artwork and product designs.
