Arts Trail Visiting Artists'
August 15th - 31st
As part of the Ludlow Fringe 2020 Art Trail we are delighted to welcome our next two visiting artists!
Laura Jayne of Small Dog Silver is a designer maker who crafts beautiful sterling silver, copper and gemstone jewellery from her small studio in rural Shropshire. The countryside surrounding her home studio is a constant inspiration to her work and can be seen in her use of nature motifs and themes.
Our second visiting artist is Mary Stephens!
Mary is a local artist, potter and Yoga teacher who loves working with clay, mainly producing fine thrown stoneware and porcelain on the wheel. Her work is often part glazed which allows the tactile quality of the fired piece to be explored as well as giving a subtle design.
Demonstrations...
- Silver soldering jewellery demo on the 15th, 16th and 30th August.
- Porcelain hand building demonstration 22nd August.
